The right option depends on door material, weight, thickness, opening angle, and installation requirements.
02 What is the difference between butt hinges, no-mortise hinges, and concealed hinges?
Butt hinges are installed into mortises cut into the door and frame. No-mortise hinges use overlapping leaves to simplify installation, while concealed hinges remain hidden when the door is closed for a cleaner and more modern appearance.
03 What types of door stops are available and how do I select one?
Common options include magnetic door stops, floor-mounted stops, wall-mounted stops, and adjustable door holders. Selection depends on door position, installation surface, required holding force, and available mounting space.

04 What is the load capacity and how many hinges are needed per door?
The number of hinges required depends on the door height, weight, material, hinge size, and installation conditions. Standard interior doors commonly use multiple hinges positioned along the door height to distribute the load. For heavier or taller doors, additional hinges may be required. Final hinge quantity should be confirmed according to the actual door specifications and hinge load capacity.
05 What materials are available for door hardware?
Common materials include 201 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, and cold-rolled steel. Stainless steel provides good durability and corrosion resistance, while zinc alloy and aluminum alloy are widely used for decorative and functional hardware. Material selection should consider the application environment, required strength, finish, corrosion resistance, and project budget.
06 How does a soft close or self closing hinge work?
Soft-close and self-closing hinges use spring, hydraulic, or combined mechanisms to control door movement. A self-closing hinge automatically guides the door toward the closed position, while a soft-close mechanism slows the door during the final part of closing to reduce impact and noise. Some models also allow the closing speed or spring tension to be adjusted.

07 How do you install concealed hinges and what tools are required?
Installation requirements vary according to the hinge model and door structure. Concealed hinges normally require accurate positioning and suitable recesses in the door and frame. Common tools may include a measuring tape, drill, router or milling tool, screwdriver, and positioning template. Installation dimensions should always be confirmed from the product drawing before machining.
08 How do you adjust hinges for proper door alignment?
Adjustable hinges can usually be fine-tuned vertically, horizontally, or in depth depending on the hinge design. Adjustments should be made gradually while checking the door gap, opening movement, and contact between the door and frame. For 3D adjustable concealed hinges, the up/down, left/right, and front/back positions can be adjusted separately.
09 How should stainless steel door hardware be maintained?
Clean stainless steel hardware regularly with a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive pads, strong acids, alkalis, or aggressive chemicals that may damage the surface finish. Moving parts and fixing screws should also be checked periodically to maintain smooth operation and secure installation.

Yes. OEM and ODM services are available for selected door, window, and furniture hardware products. Customization can include product dimensions, materials, finishes, colors, logo marking, packaging, and other project-specific requirements. Technical drawings or samples can also be reviewed for custom development.
12 What information should I provide when requesting a quotation?
